In July 2005, Actinver Brokerage House established the derivatives desk, with the objective of providing its clients with derivative solutions denominated in pesos, dollars and other currencies covering the full range of asset classes from equities all the way through to fixed income, currencies and commodities.

The objective of the derivatives desk is to offer clients instruments and solutions that help them to minimize their risks while maximizing their returns.

These derived products can have diverse forms. They can track an an index or a portfolio of shares; they can provide investors access to markets that traditionaly have been out of reach to mexican investors, at all times focusing on capital protection and enhancing returns.
